The company and subject description of the Samsung, Apple study:
Samsung group is one of the largest electronics companies in the world and competes with
other large companies such as Apple. The company was created in South Korea, by its
founder named Lee Byung-Chull. In recent years, Samsung has been creating its own
smartphone battle with Apple, with the Samsung Galaxy S smartphones competing with the
new iPhone smartphones. This year it has been noted that Samsung's sales figures are lagging
behind those of Apple, but why is that the case? The quality of the Samsung smartphones is
comparable to that of Apple or maybe even better. Or is it the marketing strategies that
Samsung uses? Or maybe consumers just find the Apple a bit “nicer”? It could also be the
price but often the prices are quite comparable and at Apple they are often even more
expensive. This research examines how this process works.
This research is also practice-oriented and focuses on the quantitative research method, in
which figures and statistics are analysed.
Reason for the Samsung, Apple investigation:
As a result of this news item, it has been decided to start an investigation for Samsung. This
post states that Samsung is falling after Apple and this investigation focuses on a possible
cause and effect. This happened on January 8, 2019.
