NR 631Nurse Executive Concluding Graduated Experience 1 Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) This paper aims to define and document the project's tasks and deliverables and how they relate to each other. I will be addressing the work breakdown structure (WBS). The WBS tool highlights the tasks that need to be completed, prioritizing the tasks and their timing. The WBS also notes the resources necessary to complete the tasks on time. The second tool that will be explained is the Gantt chart. The Gantt chart is essentially the timeline for the project. The graph shows the start and completion dates for all tasks needed to make the project successful. The Gantt chart is a straightforward tool, clearly understood, and easily adaptable to change if needed. The WBS and Gantt charts will be attached as appendixes to this scholarly paper. Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Tool The work breakdown structure tool is utilized once all the deliverables have been established and tasks have been given to individuals to accomplish. According to Derenskaya (2018), grouping and breaking down the project allows for goals to be clearly defined. The work breakdown structure (WBS) offers many opportunities for a project's success, such as gaining agreement on the project's work and communication with stakeholders and education. According to Hubble and Spitulnik (2016), it is crucial that all team members be involved in structuring the work breakdown. Participants' responsibilities are clearly communicated and states specific requirements needed for the project to be successful. I have chosen to utilize a tabular-style WBS.
