1. My good experience as a learner in a
science class
Science taught me a lot, the projects in science helped me as an individual to grow and
to be a thinker, projects like the one of growing a plant we used cotton, bean, plastic
container, water, and sunlight then waited days to watch the plant grow, such projects
have taught me to never be in need of vegetables at home because I had the basics of
farming through learning science in class
Technology class
Growing up technology has always been one of my favorite subject because it allowed
me to be creative, it has taught me to use any given resources to create something
valuable and productive for an example the projects that I was given played a huge role
in my life such projects as the bulb project, we used bulb, battery, paper clips, and
electric wires to create a light that works without the use of electricity, such projects that
I learned in class were useful to me because when there was no electricity at home, I
used the light to provide light at home
Bad experience in
science class
when I was doing grade 8 and 9 I was struggling a lot with science because at first I did
not know how to pronounce some of the science terms and that made me not ask
questions in class. I did not have much interest and did not understand the subject
because the was a lack of resources at my school so some of the experiments that
were supposed to be done practically were not done and as a result that caused so
much confusion to me as a young learner because if it was done practically in front of
us even during exams it was going to be easy to remember as a result I lack love for the
subject
technology class
At school we did not have enough resources, so we were not able to do all the
experiments in the textbook, we were made to imagine the projects, and also the
teachers came in class not prepared because at times you find an activity and you find
that the teacher did not bring the required material to do the observation.
