This poster will describe the legal responsibilities of all involved in the care of looked after children
and young people. I will also define and state how effective safeguarding is for those who may be
vulnerable. Additionally, I will describe why the care needs to be child-centred and coordinated.
Finally, I will explore the importance of collaborative working practice.
