BOA - chairman and 6 members (appointed by the President) with a 3-year term and at the close of each
calendar year, submit an annual report to the President
- Vice chairman from the member with a 1-year term
- No person who has served 2 successive complete terms shall be eligible for reappointment until
the lapse of 1 year
- Natural-born citizen and a resident with 10 years of work experience
Qualifications of Applicants - Filipino citizen, good moral character, BSA degree, no criminal offense
involving moral turpitude
Rating in the Licensure Examination
PASSED General average of at least 75%, with no grades lower than 65% in any given
subject.
CONDITIONAL General average of less than 75%, has a grade of less than 65%, or both, but has
obtained 75% and above in at least 4 out of 6 of the subjects
REMOVAL A candidate shall take an examination in the remaining subjects within two years
EXAMINATION from the preceding examination
Failing Candidates Fails in 2 complete CPALE shall enroll at least 24 units of subject
Report of Ratings Within 10 days submit to the Commission
Certificate of Registration (CoR) - full name with registration number
Professional Identification Card - renewable every 3 years
Reinstatement of Revoked CoR - after 2 years from date of revocation, reinstate the validity, and in Board’s
discretion, exempt from taking another exam
Accreditation to Practice Public Accountancy - minimum of 3 years meaningful experience
Accreditation of Individual CPA, Firms, and Partnership - registration shall be valid for 3 years and
