Nine-point Beighton hypermobility score
The ability to:
1-Passively extend the fifth metacarpophalangeal joint to ≥ 90°
2- Passively appose the thumb to the anterior aspect of the forearm
3- Passively hyperextend the elbow to ≥ 10°
4-Passively hyperextend the knee to ≥ 10°
5- Actively place hands flat on the floor without bending the knees
One point is given for each side for manoeuvres
It is generally considered that hypermobility is present if4 out of 9 points
are scored.
