This paper consists of 21 pages and two annexures (pp i-iii)
Instructions:
1) This is a full MCQ examination consisting of 50 questions.
2) The questions are numbered from 1 to 25 for Section A and 26 to 50 for Section B.
3) Read the instructions in the beginning of each section and follow them carefully.
4) Allocation of marks and time utilisation:
• You have 2 hours and 45 minutes at your disposal.
• 15 minutes are for downloading, saving/printing and reading through the paper.
• 60 minutes are for answering Section A (50 marks) – 25 multiple-choice questions.
• 60 minutes are for answering Section B (50 marks) – 25 multiple-choice questions.
• 30 minutes are for submitting your answers on myUnisa.
5) Annexures:
Annexure 1 contains a list of abbreviations used in this examination paper, with their descriptions.
Annexure 2 contains translations of some of the terminology used in this examination paper to North
Sotho, isiZulu and Afrikaans.
6) How to submit your answers:
After you have considered and selected answers to all the questions, you need to submit your answers on
myUnisa. The procedure how to do this is explained in the document “Student Guide: MCQ Exams on
myUnisa GGH1501”. Note that there are two methods which can be followed. If you struggle with the first
method, then rather immediately try by using the second method.
