Introduction.
The capacity of a person or group of people to persuade and direct subordinates or other
members of a group is known as leadership (Pratt, 2017). An effective leader possesses a variety of
attributes rather than a set of universal guidelines. The following essay will evaluate my leadership
style using Lewin's theoretical framework.
Results of the Leadership Assessment.
My result after taking Lewin's leadership evaluation test was:
Authoritarian Leadership – 14
Democratic Leadership – 26
Laissez-faire Leadership – 15
I performed best in the democratic leadership style, then in the laissez-faire and democratic
leadership categories, according to the evaluation. I was astounded by the outcomes because they
fit my leadership style.
Authoritarian Leadership Style.
A leadership style known as authoritarian leadership emphasizes personal domination,
centralized power and tight control over subordinates, as well as unquestioned compliance (Du et

micromanage because I can't handle it if someone else does. Although I agree that some tasks are
only a manager's responsibility, perhaps that is why I scored a 14 on the test.
For instance, as a manager, what if I had a team of employees who lacked imagination or
had trouble making decisions quickly? In such cases, I would have to intervene.
Democratic Leadership Style.
Democratic leadership, often referred to as participative leadership or shared leadership, is a
type of leadership in which group members participate more actively in decision-making (Cherry,
2021). I did the best on it, and this style probably best describes me. I have always believed that
