Running Case You and your team are continuing your work on the Global Treps Project. Your project sponsor, Dr. K., has asked you to refine the existing cost estimate for the project so you can evaluate supplier bids and have a solid cost baseline for evaluating project performance. Recall that your schedule and cost goals are to complete the project in six months for under $120,000. The rest of the team besides bobby will be assigned 2.5 hours per day as well totaling four hundred and fifty hours. Since bobby will have to do a majority of the IT work he will be assigned an extra sixteen hours to ensure that it gets completed, totaling 466 hours. Hardware: Laptops: standard price for a good laptop is approximately $1000. Since we are getting one for each of the distant team members it will cost us about $3000 for all of them. I also estimate the internet access for six months should be approximately $80 per month totaling $1440 for the entire six-month project.
