A. Definition of Cyber Law
Cyber Law is a law related to the internet, which includes a case issue, a law,
regulations, and disputes for people who interact through "Computers and the
Internet". Cyber law comes from the word Cyber Space Law, other terms of
cyber law are:
1) Information Technology Law
2) Cyber law
B. History of Cyber Law
1) History of Cyber Law in the world
- In the 1980s, especially countries in Europe and North America began to
criminalize new acts in the field of using computer technology.
- In the 1990s several countries in the hemisphere began to regulate
criminal acts for violations of the use of computer systems.
- International organizations, namely:
1. Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
(1983-1985).
In 1986 member states were recommended to make
national rules
2. United Nations (UN)
3. The Group of Eight (E8)
Which consists = Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Japan,
United Kingdom, United States, and Russia.
4. Council of Erope (CoE)

- In 2000 the government began to initiate various activities in cyber
