Why do you think the author included the quotation? In other words, how does the quotation
support the main idea? The author included the quotation to show that they aren’t his words
and to refer to the source he/she got it from. The quotation supports the main idea as the
man commented that he couldn’t learn the language growing up, but the new projects will
give him a chance to learn the language.
