1.) "Internal partnering?" says one business student. "That is just manipulating people to do what you want." Do you agree? Why or why not? I do not agree with that statement, since internal partnering is one essential way for the company’s focus on costumer needs. It is the responsibility of the marketing department to carry the customers’ voice to different colleagues in different departments of the company, who may otherwise lose their focus on the costumers’ preferences and needs. 6.) Identify five negative consequences caused by poor relationships between a.) marketing and manufacturing b.) marketing and finance, and c.) marcomm and sales - By a lack in communication because of poor relationships between marketing and manufacturing the product that is produced might not fit costumers’ needs and therefore fails to meet market requirements resulting in losses. - Poor relationships between marketing and finance, however, can result in a poor price finding process, because finance is focused on the company’s cash flow and marketing on the price that is appropriate in the market.
