frequently known as large intestine.The large intestine has

in the ending of the small intestine with a pouch known as the
CECUM.Then comes up the the ascending colon,the tranverse
colon,the descending colon,the curved parts,the sigmoid
cololn and then we have the straight part of the rectum.So

digestion and absorption.
The majority of the digestion and absorption had taken place
as food pass through the stomach through small intestine
which doea the majority of the absorption and anything left
over at the end of small intestine will be deposited into the
large intestine and those are things like indigestable fibers
that we can absorb and what is left over is contribute to our
stool.And at this point it is more of a liquid form and one of
the function of the large intestine as those things passes
through is going to absorb the last part of water and
