Introduction
In the field of resilience engineering, the means to test resilience is an approach called as
chaos engineering: Resilience engineering is usually designed to adapt systems to failure; it helps
assess the durability of systems by aggressively throwing typical system defects. After the reality
of failures has been admitted, resilience engineering designs a mechanism to continue working
with these failures by applying the principles of engineering. Employees encouraged, recognized
as a leader to innovate and change are helping the firm develop as well as define its future
success. Flores & Ekstedt (2016) states that Transformation leadership is a leadership style that
encourages, inspires and stimulates workers to innovate and cause a change that assist the
organization develop and determine its future success.
Workers ownership and freedom in the workshop and a clear understanding of corporate
culture are demonstrated by the upper management to achieve this goal. Therefore, resilience
engineering goes in hand with transformational leadership; it shows how the organization works
as a whole (Flores & Ekstedt, 2016). This article will develop a strategy and approaches for
designing or engineering certain strategies of resilience engineering in my workplace Fluor
Corporation. The document will also show how I will apply these principles of resilience
engineering in their company with Kotter's 8-stage transformation process.
Discussion
Being a construction supervisor in the Army, the workers need to be motivated and
enhance the work to produce better output. In the site, I use the following approaches and
techniques to engineer our resilience;
