Section 3 Applicability of Provisions of ICA in SOGA
Section 4 4(1)- COS is a contract whereby the seller transfers or agrees to transfer property in goods to the buyer
for a price.
4(2)- COS maybe absolute or conditional
4(3)- Sale or Agreement to sell
4(4)- Agreement to sell becomes sale
Section 5 COS- How made: COS is made by offer to buy/sell goods for a price and acceptance of such offer
5(1): The contract of sale may provide for-
● Immediate delivery of goods,or
● Immediate payment of price,or
● Both, or
● Delivery or payment by instalments, or
● Delivery or payment OR both shall be postponed
5(2): Subject to the provisions of any law for the time being in force, it may be made-
● In writing, or
● By word of mouth,or
● Partly in writing and partly by word of mouth, or
● Maybe implied from the conduct of the parties.

Section 6(2) There may be a contract for the sale of goods the acquisition of which by the seller depends upon a
contingency which may or may not happen
