Shape : oval :2 poles , 2 borders,2 surfaces
Dimensions: five cm in length ,3 cm in width, and 2 cm in thickness.
It is normal for one testicle to be larger than the other
Left testis usually lies at lower level than the right
Firm, mobile organ
Lies within the scrotum : At the inferior end, the testis is attached to the scrotum
by the scrotal ligament which is a remnant of the gubernaculum.
