HLSC 2P27
Fall 2022
Major Assignment 1 (Part 2) – Peer Assessment Form
Due: Thursday October 20, 2022 (11:59 pm)
Based on past experience, we have made 3 of 15 marks on the major assignment to be awarded according to a peer
assessment. The main purpose of this is to reward those in your groups who contributed fully to the assignment and also
to provide opportunity to identify students who have not contributed fully. You are also required to honestly rate your
own contributions to this assignment using the same scoring system. Both students in your group should hand in the
“peer assessment” on Sakai.
Please assign a grade of 0 to 3 for each person, based upon our rubric.
Your individual contributions (3 marks):
Grades to be assigned as follows:
3 marks – evidence provided that the group member provided a substantial contribution to all parts of the
submission, and can take responsibility for the entire submission
2 marks – evidence provided that the group member provided a substantial contribution to SOME (but not all)
parts of the submission, and can take responsibility for the entire submission
1 mark - evidence provided that the group member provided a substantial contribution to SOME (but not all)
parts of the submission, and can take responsibility for those parts only
0 marks – the group member did not contribute to the project in a substantial manner
Name of students in the group Score out of 3 Rationale
(including yourself)
Salomi Pathan 3 I chose to work individually on this assignment. I had been working
on this assignment since the instructions were made available. I
drafted a worksheet at first that helped me summarize the entire
article and aided me in criticizing the positive as well as negative
side of it. I thoroughly read the article and tried to understand it in all
the ways possible. I wrote the suggestions and comments as taught
to us in seminars.
