LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE OF BREAST
Lymphatic plexuses of mammary gland:
** superficial plexus (subareolar plexus):
Beneath the areola Receive from nipple, areola & central part of gland
** deep plexus = deep facial plexus (submammary plexus):
in deep pectoral fascia Receive lymph from all parts of the gland.
