Sited in the Prefecture of Madhya Pradesh in Dhindori, which has distinct Plant Fossils around 40 to 150
Million Years Old. The Fossil National Park spread around 7 Villages covering 2,74,100 sq. meters of area.
In Umaria & Ghugwa, the Fossilized, standind Trunks are known as Angiosperm, Gymnosperm Palms and
Monocotes. It is trusted that these Fossils are from Late Jurassic Age.
It was Declared as a National Park in the year of 1983.
In the Park, Visitors can see Fossils displayed in Open Platforms. For Viewers understanding, Informative
Notes have been Provided in Written Format. Another Museum can be Witnessed, there Seeds and Leaf
Fossils have been Displayed.
