length
It is S-shape, with:
The medial 2/3 convex
anteriorly (forward),
The lateral 1/3 concave
anteriorly (forward)
The acromial (lateral) end of
the clavicle is flat and
articulates with the
acromion process of the
scapula forming the
acromioclavicular joint
The sternal (medial) end
articulates with the sternum
forming the sternoclavicular joint
