Informed consent. It is a process of a health care provider educating the patient about the
recurring benefits, risks, or alternatives of a specific procedure or involvement (Antoinette &
Matilde, 2015). “The surgeon provided informed consent to him about the surgery before he

Essential information. Very crucial and necessary information about a particular medical
procedure or guidelines that a patient must follow to ensure recovery. “Right prescription of
medical drugs is essential information for the patient.”
Research subjects. A person who willingly decides to participate in a research study due
to personal or professional interests (Leonard, 2017). “I was a research subject in the

Sponsors. People or organizations that support an individual or running of activity by
contributing towards or paying for its success and gain advertising favor in return. “The coca-
cola company was the chief sponsor in our seasonal games competition.”
Researchers. People who are involved in carrying out academic or scientific research to
discover verified information for application in a particular field. “Researchers are always
carrying out developmental researches to get a permanent cure for infectious viral diseases.”
Risks. These are situations that involve typical exposure to danger or harm. It might
include a person or a valuable thing (Leonard, 2017). “Mr. Tom risked his life to save the cat
from drowning.”
