Dit verslag betreft een casus waarbij ik als verpleegkundige voor een ethisch dilemma sta. Mijn patiënt is erg ziek en de prognose is somber. Echter mag er wegens de geloofsovertuiging niet gestaakt worden met de behandeling, ondanks de slechte prognose en lijdensweg.

Diversiteitsbewuste zorg




Beste lezer,

, In het kader tot de opleiding tot hbo-v verpleegkundige doe ik onderzoek naar
diversiteitsbewuste zorg. Ik hoop te leren over de islamitische cultuur en hun
denkwijze met betrekking tot het leven, ziekte en sterfte.

Voor dit onderzoek pleeg ik informatieve websites en mijn netwerk raad. Ook werk ik
het drie-stappenmodel van Pinto en het cultuurmodel van Edward T Hall uit.

Dit verslag is geschreven met behulp van de rubric luk 1.5 en de schrijfwijzer
(Groenewoud et al., 2017).
