Implementation and Communication Plan Case Study
Introduction
Every business needs a good marketing plan that is up to date with the ever-
changing economy and its people. In Hoosier Media, Inc’s current business condition there are
two activities the company must do in order to survive in this economy and they deal with
marketing and information technology. With all the innovative technology and advanced
marketing mediums, Hoosier Media would be no more if the company decided not to start a new
marketing approach. Publicizing and innovation are very critical for the company and its ability
to battle the overall economy of today because the present-day customers are dependent on the
innovative access to data.
Marketing
In the marketing division of Hoosier Media’s business plan, they currently use
traditional ways to advertise which include print advertisements. These advertisements solicit
new and renewal subscriptions, but they have not been reaching as many customers as the
company would like to reach. The other tactics the company uses includes regional television
and radio advertising spots which also only reach a certain number of customers in the area.
Hoosier Media Inc needs to expand its marketing reach and there are two ways
the company can do that, social media and mobile apps. Social media platforms reach a very
wide range of people all over the world right along with mobile apps. Creating a company
website and then a page or a profile on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Snap
Chat, Instagram, etc. would reach an infinite number of people. Developing a mobile app for the
company would be the next thing Hoosier Media needs to work on and of course hiring a team to
manage both the social media pages and mobile app so that they both stay up to date.
