Nursing Entrance Test (PAX) Information-Application PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY IF SEEKING ADMISSION TO THE LUZERNE COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE NURSING PROGRAM.  The NLN Pre-admission Exam (PAX) is a pre-entrance requirement for admission into the Nursing Program. THERE ARE 3 PARTS TO THIS EXAM; ENGLISH, MATH AND SCIENCE. THIS EXAM IS COMPUTER BASED.  Students must have a Nursing Application on file in the Admissions Office before registering for the PAX.  MINIMUM PASSING SCORES ARE REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION INTO THE NURSING PROGRAM.  ALL EXAMS ARE GIVEN AT THE HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER, 38 E. MAIN ST, NANTICOKE IN ROOMS 204 AND 207 PLEASE NOTE: There are 2 sessions for this exam, Session 1 (held in April, May, and June) and Session 2 (held in August through December).
