Personal Vision and Mission Statement
My personal vision and mission statement is to bring inspiration and give people a sense
of empowerment on my path towards becoming a working woman in the Sports Management

Industry. I want to create a path that is specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely.
Using these SMART goals will help guide me into gaining as much experience as I can so that I
would be able to use the experience and resources to give anyone that crosses my path the
encouragement and motivation to finish their dream goals.
SMART Goals
Specific
The first SMART goals that is needed to be achieved is to be Specific. “Exactly what is it
that you are trying to achieve?” (Michele, et al. “SMART Goals). My first goal that I would like
to achieve would be to finish my internship at The University of Antelope Valley so that I would
be able to work towards becoming an Athletic Director the collegiate level. This internship will
allow me to gain new skills and hands on experience that I would be able to use when I become
an Athletic Director, this will allow me to give future workers past experiences that I learned
worked very well or did not work at all and we can find an alternate path. My second goal
would be during my time at The University of Antelope Valley I will make sure that I learn the
marketing, game operations, and sports information, this will be able to give myself a better
hands on experience and I will have these to apply for more than one position. My third and
fourth goal is to become an Athletic Director at the collegiate level and live within the Southern
California area, this would mean that I would have to find a permanent place to live so that it
would make it much easier to apply for these jobs without having to travel such a long distance
or relocate. My fifth goal would be to have 3 professional references by the time I will be apply
for jobs. When someone has a specific goal that they are trying to achieve, it makes it much
easier to follow the path they have created for themselves to make sure that they have reached
every pint to finalize this final achievement.
