Abstract
The study was conducted to investigate the effects of Retrieval Cues and Free Recall on
Number of Words Remembered to recall performance. The research method used was the
experiment method. The sample population was 20 participants, ten men and ten women. Rival
hypotheses are tried, one of which relies upon the number of cues accessible at the Retrieval and
the other on free recall performed during grouping. After submitting with two-section
classification cued recall condition and free recall condition, the subjects characterised
the words dependent on classification enrollment dependent on the number of words imparted to
the answer sheet and afterwards analysed by inferential and descriptive analysis. The results
showed that the cued recall condition and free recall condition impact some words remembered
to recall performance. The idea of fractional semi-handling of terms is examined, and the number
