04.06 Multiple Choice: Predict the Answer
Write a reflection of at least 150 words describing your experience with this practice.
● How many questions did you answer correctly?
● Which question numbers did you miss? What are the concepts or skills associated with
each missed question?
● How effectively were you able to stick to the recommended 25 minute time limit? If you
struggled to finish in time, what strategies do you think you can implement to try and
meet that goal next time?
● How did the technique of previewing the stems and attempting to answer them without
looking at the answer choices help you to prepare for the actual practice? Explain your
process.
I managed to answer 11 questions correctly out of the 15 I was tested on. I missed
question number 1, which tests my ability to identify the type of figurative language a statement
is. I missed question 2, which is associated with the concept of making inferences based on
textual evidence. I missed question 4, which has to do with identifying a specific rhetorical
strategy. Finally, I missed question 9, which is associated with altering wording in order for it to
apply to the intended audience. I was able to finish up until question 13 under the 25 time limit. I
struggled with the first passage and its questions the most because of the wording of the passage,
