DAYAK ETNOSCENCE

1. Sape' is used by the Dayak people as a musical instrument to express a feeling; either happy or sad.

The beautiful melodic twang is not only heard through the musical instrument that modern people say
is now called the guitar. Passage after passage is played to produce a tune that amazes every corner of
the listener. Call it Sape', a typical Dayak musical instrument that not only looks but plays it through
the strings like a guitar. Its connection with science in elementary school is that sape' is a musical
instrument that produces sound.

So, sound is one of the energies that can arise due to several factors. Sound energy is a form of
vibration which can then produce sounds that can be heard by the human ear.

These vibrations do not only come from musical instruments which are intended to produce beautiful
sounds or voices with melodies or other musical compositions.

Sound energy can come from a variety of sources, even from gusts of wind. Grameds must have heard
the wind blow which produces the sound of dry leaves scraping on the road, leaves rustling against
trees, and so on.

That is why we cannot define sound energy as simply as the sound of a musical instrument. But all
kinds of sounds on this earth that can be heard by human hearing aids. So that's the reason why sound
is a form of energy because it requires power or a source to produce it.

2. Tanggui is a hat that is generally worn by Sebaruk Iban women when going outside the house,
whether the weather is hot or rainy. Tanggui is also commonly worn by men. Tanggui is made from
terapas, perupuk, tanduh, senggang, resam and uwi (rattan) pumpkin. Tanggui is mostly made by
women.

Tanggui, a hat, is usually used to go to the fields. This large tanggui is used by mothers who usually
go out of the house with the baby/child they are carrying. Its relationship with IPA is a circular
tanggui. Definition of Circle

What is meant by a circle as a flat shape? Flat shapes that are composed of curves and not straight
lines so that they do not include polygons are called circles. A special ellipse where the two foci
coincide and the eccentricity is 0 can also be defined as a circle.

The circle is a flat figure that has no angles. You often encounter objects in the shape of a circle in
everyday life, such as plates, car tires, cup holders, wall clocks, coins, and many more.
