Critical Discourse Analysis in Indonesia Lawyer's Club (ILC) "Rkuhp Controversy" on Tv One.

Indonesia is a democratic country, where the people take part in the country's problems. Especially if
the problem is related to regulations that bind the people and harm the people. In this article "critical
discourse analysis in Indonesia lawyer's club (ilc) "Rkuhp Controversy" on Tv One" we will discuss the
pros and cons of this case.
The Indonesian Lawyers Club's program is, abbreviated to September 25, 2019 ILC edition, with the
theme of RKUHP controversy. This impression led to the appearance of the criminal justice project with
many chapters collecting controversy, such as the abortion clause to black magic (santet), which
ultimately delayed the approval by the RKUHP due to the garnering controversy in the public domain.
The Draft Criminal Code or RKUHP has become a controversial news item in several online media. The
RKUHP is made to regulate criminal acts or something that is considered a crime and to regulate the
burden of punishment.
So far, we have known that many people have protested the Rkuhp because it can harm the people. In
the case of abortion, I think it is a very personal case and it is not suitable to be exposed in public. For
example, by Masyarakat Pemantau Peradilan Indonesia (MaPPI FH UI) Professor Sulistyowati Irianto
criticizes the harsh Article 285 RKUHP, “Anyone who by force or threat of violence forces a woman who
is not his wife to dress in her, punished, for rape , in prison for twelve years forever."This section is
judged to still have a narrow meaning.
The news of the RKUHP spike attracted attention when in September 2019 the Legislative Council of the
Indonesian People's Representatives started discussing the draft criminal code that is partly
controversial, such as the article insulting the president and vice president, abortion up to the article on
black magic. The other news channel's talk show, Mata Najwa on Trans-TV, does not raise the RKUHP
phenomenon. The ILC ensures that the messages on this RKUHP are intended to establish a discourse.
The previous study of speech on the talk show program was "Analysis of Critical Discourse on Pakistani
Media Politics TV Shows" Hafiz Ahmad Bilal in 2012. This study uses a critical speech analysis model of
Teun van Dijk but does not carry the dimensions of social cognition analysis.In the discourse research
that was constructed in the ILC program "RKUHP polemic", the researcher used a three-dimensional
analysis of text structure, social cognition and Teun van Dijk's social analysis, from the reasons stated
above researchers who are interested in conducting research. about how the speech was constructed in
