Farmers Occupation shared by most people in Africa. Shaman A healer who tries to cure ailments by using medicine and sacred objects. Polygamy The practice of having more than one wife, is occasionally practiced by African ethnic groups. Water (Clean) This is a a resource that many Africans must travel miles to obtain. Church of Saint George Located in Ethiopia, this church was made a constructed of solid rock. Bantu Speakers of a related group of languages who, beginning around 2,000 years ago, migrated from west Africa into most of the southern half of Africa. Khoisan Languages distinguished by its numerous clicking sounds.
