Describing physical appearance
The following vocabulary will be useful to describe physical appereance of the people
Vocabulary 5.1
5.1.1 AGE
a. ELDERLY a. It is a polite form to say "old person"
b. TWENTIES b. It means that someone has 20 years or something
c. MIDDLE-AGED c. It a age betewen elderly and fiftys or fortys
5.1.2 BUILD
a. Have a good body and you are healthy or you keep fit
a. IN GOOD SHAPE
b. Someone who is thin or delgado
b. SLIM
c. When you have a strong body and good one (fornido)
c. WELL-BUILT
d. When someone has to lose weight and are not healthy
d. OVERWEIGHT
5.1.3 FACIAL FEATURES
a. LARGE FOREHEAD a. Have a big and long forehead (frenton)
b. LARGE JAW b. Have a jaw trained or have a lage jaw and chin
c. ROUND FACE c. Have a face similar than a circule
d. DOUBLE CHIN d. Have something under ur chin (la famosa papada)
5.1.4 HAIR
a. BLOND( E) a. Ser rubio but if you use with "e" is for women

COMPARATIVES:
We only use it to compare but it's not the extreme one that is why to express degree we use modifiers to
compare two objects or wathever thing we use "THAN"
POSITIVE (MORE) NEGATIVE (LESS)
• Less than 2 sylabbles: (ONLY ONE) • Here it's doesn't really matter HOW MANY SYLABBLES THE
ADJECTIVE HAS, So the form is pretty simple.
ADJECTIVES + ER/ IER
LESS+ ADJECTIVE
• More than 2 sylabbles:
Don't add anything else to the adjective.
MORE + ADJECTIVE
SUPERLATIVES:
• Superlatives are a kind of extreme adjectives that is why we use "THE MOST/THE LEAST",
this is not to compare, it is to exprees the maximum of an especific adjective instead.
