Find 3 examples of normal behaviour and explain what happens

There are many abnormal behaviours, here are three examples.

Pacing is an abnormal behaviour. This is where an animal continuously retraces its steps around the
enclosure because of lack of enrichment causing boredom and stress.

Cribbing is an abnormal behaviour seen in horses. This is when a horse grasps a solid object with its
top incisor teeth and then flex its neck muscles and sucks in a big gulp of air making a grunting
sound.

Wind sucking is an abnormal behaviour seen in horses. This is when a horse draws in the muscles of
its neck and oesophagus and forces air into the throat followed by a gasping sound and repetitively
swallowing and licking their lips.

While cribbing and windsucking are similar, they are different. Windsucking does not involve
chewing of a solid object/surface whilst cribbing does.
