My knowledge in the field of chemistry is still limited. Also, my laboratory
skill is not strong either. Therefore, the Master of Science in Cell and
Molecular Biology will definitely equip me with more knowledge in this field
and enhance my lab skill.
In details, the ideal research environment at ___ University will advance my
research skill and my contributions to the research community. With the
modern facilities and sophisticated tools, I will have the opportunity to
conduct the cutting-edge research in the lab specialized I different areas
including biochemistry, cell biology, microbiology, neurobiology and systems
and computational biology.
Besides, this program is a great choice for me to develop my career in the
rapidly expanding field of biotechnology and pharmacological research.
More than that, earning a Master program of Science in Cell and Molecular
Biology at a highly ranked university in New Zealand will definitely enhance
my competitiveness of application to postgraduate professional schools in

My hometown, Vietnam is still ranked as a middle-income country in the
world according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Vietnam
economic development still depends mainly on agriculture which is the
sector accounts for the largest workforce approximately 60% according to
World Bank. Therefore, biology and biotechnology specially are still
considered as underdeveloped sectors in Vietnam.
The application of biotechnology generally and cell biology in reality in
Vietnam is still limited for many reasons. And the biggest obstacle for the
development and application of these technologies in reality is the
qualification and knowledge of researchers in Vietnam is still limited
compared to researchers in developed countries.
In fact, the biotechnology in general can be applied in a variety of industries
but the most applied sectors are agriculture and medicine. Regarding
agriculture, the application of biotechnology can bring tremendous benefits
for farming and feeding. In details, it can help to protect, raise the
production of plants and animals and increase the competitive strength of
exported agricultural products of Vietnam in global market. Regarding the
medicine area, the application of biotechnology generally and monocular
and cell biology specifically in medicine can help to diagnose and treat the
genetic and cancer diseases. In a recent publication in May 4/2014 of the
World Health Organization (WHO), Vietnam ranked in the top 2 countries
that have the highest death rate due to cancer in the world. Hence, it is
very significant for Vietnamese researchers to find and apply more cell
biology technology in diagnose and treatment of cancer.

After finishing the Master degree at ___ University, I will apply to
postgraduate program to advance my research career. And in my plan,
