SPOOKIEST TOPIC OF GRE
The topic for tonight is going to be on the theme of the month. We 're in which is October. We 're
going to talk about the spookiest problems on the [UNK] and how to identify them. After We do it
live here we're going to put it up on [UNK]. There 's a great playlist there of all of our other free.
There 's going to be a whole range of difficulties within every section of the [UNK] The hard
question is worth the same at least within a section. The hardest ones take longer you only have
35 minutes on math 30 minutes on verbal and if you try a really hard one which could be
something that takes you three four five minutes. When you rush your way more likely to make
mistakes than. If you spend too much time on unfriendly problems. I think one of the most
common things that causes students to wind up closer to the bottom of their score range is if
they really screw up their timing by doing something wrong in the timing early on in their
sections and then accidentally rushing through the rest of the section..
All questions count the same as all questions in the [UNK]NK] Mark and review Buttons are
buttons that are available to you. When you're taking the actual [UNK] interface you can skip
around within the section. The Mark Button puts like a sort of literally a check mark is what
shows up there. Review Button brings you to a list of the 20 questions and you can double click
into the ones that you have marked. How to identify and what to do on the very hardest
questions is how to respond to the hardest questions. Using the mark and review Buttons
effectively is a great way to respond practice. This in your practice tests. Learning to diagnose
that 's the word we're going to be using the. hardest questions so that you guess and Skip on
them more quickly. You always want to leave a guess for every. Every answer, even if you 're
not going to get to the end of the test, and you have 10 seconds left just hit next and guess until
you hit the end just so you at least have a chance a random chance of getting all those ones
that you didn't really try okay..
The hard skills are one of the hard skills that we'll try to talk about a little bit. When I show you
some actual questions in a bit. NO matter how high of a score you are. These problem types are
statistically more difficult, so you should at least be aware of their difficulty level. One of them is
pick all that apply. The most advanced and rare topics on the [UNK] are statistically going to be
more difficult because it 's less likely that you studied them and they might just be harder topics.
The next one is complicated word problems with unusual setups that you can't easily tolerate
from the right from the get-go. There 's a difference for each test taker. Different test takers have
different strengths and weaknesses that do N't always perfectly match the average. You might
be great at some of the topics that. Technically more advanced, you might be not so great at
one or two of the more fundamental topics, and that is all okay right, but what helps is to know
what your strengths are and to know when you are on a problem that is going to be really tough
for you..
The heart of the words the harder on average the question is going to be and the same is true
for a longer more complicated sentence. Once per test you 're going to get a passage that 's
way longer than all the others. Once per [UNK]. You will see a reading comp passage that is
more like three or four paragraphs. Get good at understanding the big picture and get good at
