1,000 Blind People See For The First Time
MrBeast
In this video, we're curing 1,000 blind people from around the world. Half
of all blindness in the world is caused by a condition that requires a
simple 10-minute surgery. The surgeon uses a tiny vacuum to suck up
the clouded lens in their eyes and replace it with an artificial one. Charlie,
who has been blind for 62 years, is amazed at what he can now see and
is overwhelmed with emotion. Jeremiah was born with cataracts and has
never seen light through his right eye; he hopes his surgery will be
successful as it only has a 50% chance of working. Satchel had poor
vision from birth and almost lost his entire vision after a go-karting
accident but thanks to the surgery his eyesight will be restored. To top it
off, Charlie finds out he has won 10 grand – news he didn't know until
after his surgery!
Satchel, who was originally unable to see a few weeks ago, is now able to
see again thanks to his new Tesla. Nolan was so generous and gracious in
the video that we wanted to show our appreciation by making a $100,000
donation.
