Leadership Theories
Effective leadership comprises of the execution of the company’s vision or improving
and redefining it, and setting the right tone and culture for a given organization. Leadership is
about the creation and planning, securing of resources and searching out for improving mistakes
and errors. A good leader is expected to have exemptional qualities such as courage, respect,
integrity, self-awareness and gratitude. These qualities enable the leader to learn agility and flex
their influence while delegating and communicating effectively. A highly effective ethical leader
can lead by example, share their visions, demonstrate integrity, motivate and inspire and make
hard decisions. Chosen leaders implement the personal values of an effective leader by being
true to themselves and resisting the temptation to emulate others. This paper sets out to discuss
how effective leaders implement their values, the areas in which they do or do not implement
these personal values into their leadership styles and how they put these concepts into practice.

years and her leadership style has evolved throughout her work location. Packard describes her
leadership as transformative and changing depending on situational purposes. Transformational

leaders inspire and motivate their workforce without excessive management since they trust the
abilities of their employees. Her organisation’s core values are courage, commitment and
