After reading the case study and watching the video below, consider the
questions: What is civil society? How can civil society be strengthened?

That is true, according to Abraham Lincoln, Democracy is a system of
government organized by the people, to the people, and for the people.
That is, the people are the highest authority in a government, where each
of them has the same rights in an effort to regulate government policy.
So when in any case this is not the case, we can say that is not been civil.

Civil Society is a moral society that guarantees a balance between
individual freedom and community stability, where the community has
the drive to drive business and individual initiatives. Civil society is also
referred to as a society that has a leader and is subject to the law.

Hello and good afternoon Professor Knisley,
from reading the shared case study and watching, "Rebuilding Civil
Society" I was able in infer that civil society is a community or gathering
of individuals who come together to face today's issues and work
together on achieving solutions to those existing conundrums. In my
opinion civil society can be strengthened by individuals reaching out to
other individuals that seek to achieve a greater purpose for not only
those in their community but for others around the world. The key to
understanding civil society is noting the mission and agenda that these
people are delivering and advocating for, right from the beginning. If we
are to educate, help, or par take in whatever particular movement we
must understand the main purpose.
