Overview of video
Tobacco causes more than seven million deaths every year, and many of
us are far more complicit in the problem than we realize. In a bold talk,
oncologist Dr. Bronwyn King tells the story of how she uncovered the
deep ties between the tobacco industry and the entire global finance
sector, which invests our money in cigarette companies through big
banks, insurers, and pension funds. Learn how Dr. King has ignited a
worldwide movement to create tobacco-free investments and how each
of us can play a role in ending this epidemic.

Give examples of products that put people at risk for cancer. Why do
these products sell? Are you a conscious consumer who puts health
before risk, or is this something you generally never think about?

rating of a particular product change your future use patterns?

Oh Hello Everyone,
One product that could lead you down the wrong path is vaping. Many
people think that vaping is safer than smoking cigarettes, but by vaping,
research shows that you would be likely to move into smoking cigarettes.
If you started smoking anything with nicotine as a teenager, you put
yourself at a greater risk of harming your brain. It can affect your
attention and memory. Even if you just vape and not smoke, you are still
hurting your lungs by inhaling metal particles and other cancer causing
chemicals.
This is the same for any type of tobacco whether it is a cigarette,
dipping tobacco, or vaping.

Rachel,
I have heard of this research before about metal particles entering
people's lungs through vaping. I am an ex-smoker of cigarettes. I tried
many times to quit smoking cigarettes by vaping, but vaping never helped
me completely quit. One day I just quit cold turkey.

Hi Terry,
I knew someone who quit cigarettes cold turkey, but it was because he
was sick at the time, and the doctor told him to quit because his condition
could become worse. So, he quit like it was nothing and is cigarette free
about 2 years now.
