Congratulations on your educational achievements and welcome to PROJ598
(Contract and Procurement Management)! My name is Roshonda Davis-
Cheadle and I am privileged to be your instructor for this course. As your
instructor, I will be your first line of response for any questions and will
assist with your success in this class.
Being a graduate of Keller Graduate School of Management, I’ve been in
your shoes so I truly understand what you’ll be facing in the course!
My career spans over 19 years of demonstrated success in project planning
and administrative operations for various industries, including financial
services, communications industry, as well as government agencies. I am a
Sr. Project Manager for a financial institution. In our environment, we provide
sophisticated information processing, computer software services and
business solutions to the financial services, communications, and healthcare
industries. Working in the Information Technology (IT) arena, my position
requires coordination of high-level project planning and scheduling for large
projects and multiple small projects; from project initiation through delivery
both domestically and internationally. I have gained expertise in various
aspects of a project gained from on-hands opportunities to train/instruct,
program, analyze, plan, implement and troubleshoot on assigned projects.
This job is thought-provoking at times and allows me the opportunity to
share current, real world experiences to influence learning.
I am married with 2 children and 1 grand baby. In my spare time I enjoy
working with crafts, experimenting with recipes and watching movies. My
youngest started college this Fall and I am actually excited about being an
empty nester. I can officially take out my hanging 'Taxi Mom' sign from my
car.
I’m very excited about our journey together and for previous students, look
forward to working with you again. I am honored to assist you with this final
achievement. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions throughout the
course. E-mail is the best method of contact for me and I will be checking for
messages daily by 8:00 pm (CST). I will make every effort to respond to
emails sooner, but will commit to a response within 24 hours.
I look forward to an enjoyable and productive eight
, weeks. Let’s get this done!!!
