What approach might Amy take in securing Gleason printing as a customer?

Here in this case of Gleason Printing Amy takes Customer Lifetime Value into

approach to carry out her complete research. Her research of seven months was been on

the printing needs at Metro Alliance for Wellness, a consortium of hospitals and therapy

centers in Uniopolis. She tries to find out every possible printing need of Metro alliance.

In which she finds that after excluding forms and billing, Metro contracts for about

$800,000 in commercial printing business each year. In general, a Life Time Value

model has three components: customer’s value over time, customer’s length of service

and a discounting factor. Each component can be calculated or estimated separately or

their modeling can be combined. When modeling LTV in the context of a retention

campaign, there is an additional issue, which is the need to calculate a customer’s LTV

before and after the retention effort. In other words, we would need to calculate several

LTV’s for each customer or segment, corresponding to each possible retention campaign

we may want to run (i.e. the different incentives we may want to suggest). Also granted,

some of the jobs involve in special imaging or sizing that doesn't match Gleason's

printing capabilities. But there's about $600,000 in business that Gleason could do well.

She wants in her research that her customer, Metro to stay with us for life time. For that,

her firm Gleason wants to make an investment to reap the benefits $600,000. Also she is

successful in her research with approach of Customer lifetime value by getting

appropriate response.

Her Firm responded in the manner of harnessing the technology which was stated

by the CEO of Metro. She comes up with all the required facts and figures which will
