Indus Valley Civilization / Harappa Civilization - Introduction
The Indus Valley Civilization, also known as the Harappan Civilization, was a highly sophisticated urban civilization that flourished in present-day Pakistan and northwest India from around 3300 BCE to 1300 BCE. It was characterized by well-planned cities, a system of writing, and advances in metallurgy and crafts. Key features included a highly organized urban culture, including grid-like street patterns, public buildings, and sewage systems.
