and its complications
• To describe the principles guiding the management of pre-
eclampsia

• To take histories from several patients with hypertension
during pregnancy, including at least one with gestational
hypertension and one with pre-eclampsia
• To become competent at accurately measuring blood
pressure during pregnancy, paying particular attention to
