The communication process:
Source -> Message -> Channel -> Receiver
Feedback
Verbal communication; oral and written communication
Non-verbal communication; facial expressions, body language, gestures, tone
of voice, interpersonal, graphical, multimedia
Types of graphical communication;
Graphical communication; communicate using images, symbols and icons
Sketch (a rough free hand drawing to document something from the world or
to document ideas from our heads)
Annotated diagram (a diagram that includes labelled parts, shows the specific
part of a larger whole, communicates functional properties)
Flow chart (A diagram representing a sequence of events or a process in
stages, includes symbols linked with arrows to demonstrate the flow direction
of the process)
Concept map (a graphical diagram which shows the relationship between
concepts, usually includes key words)
