Kiswahili is one of the largest language in Africa having covered the whole of Eastern Africa and parts of
central Africa . Besides Eastern and central Africa . South Africa have started kiswahili classes and Egypt
have have added Kiswahili language.
Kiswahili language seems to have been constituted by several languages which includes Arabic which has
got about 35% of it's vocabulary , English which constitutes about 10% of it's vocabulary , 50%is
constituted by Bantu languages and remaining 5 % is made by is made up by several languages .
Kiswahili language have got two types of sounds which are ;
1.Consonants which includes
(/b/,/ch/,/d//dh/,/f/,/g/,/gh/,/h/,/j/,/ k/,/kh/,/l/,/m/,/mw/,/n/,/p/,/r/,/s/,/t/,/ th /v/,/w/,/ y/, /z/)
2.Vowels which includes;
(/a/, /e/, /i/, /o/, /u/ )
NOTE ; Kiswahili sounds do not contain c ,q,x
