PHOTOGRAPHY BASIC 2
White Balance
If you hit the white balance button on your camera, you can scroll over to the
tungsten setting for orange light or the cloudy setting or outdoor settings for blue light.
These settings will adjust the cool or warm tones of the scene, allowing you to
customize the tones in your photos or videos.
White balance is important because it helps to balance the scene so that everything
looks natural and in harmony.
Focus Modes
Focusing modes depend on the object being photographed and the
photographer's interest in photography. Different modes include:
Single Shot Mode: Focuses on a single shot of the object
Continuous Mode: Continuously focuses on the object if it moves
Manual Mode: The photographer manually adjusts the focus

If you want to track a moving subject with your camera, use continuous focus, also
known as AI servo for different brands. This will help you keep the subject in focus even
if it's moving around or if there are other things in the scene. On the other hand, if you
use single focus, you can change the focus point without completely moving out of the
way or refocusing. This can also help you take a lot of shots quickly without slowing
down or changing focus points.
Manual focus is mostly used in the TV and film industry, where everything is done
manually. However, for home videos, vlogs, or just for fun, autofocus is strong enough
and there is usually no need for manual focus.
