UK’s health care system is characterized by National Health Insurance that makes
everyone covered as a matter of right. On contrast, private health care market dominates in US
where millions of Americans are still remain uninsured. Due to Affordable care Act, many poor
and middle income families are now eligible to obtain the financial assistance for health care in
US (Trudy Lieberman, 2012). US health insurance is no doubt complex and has its own culture.
Critics advocate US health care system as chaotic and confusing. People in US are confused
about how to get the health care and how to pay for the service. But people UK do not have to be
worried about such issues. In all the key health outcome indicators like quality, efficiency, access
and equity, United States ranks beyond the other major western countries. According to the 2014
