THE SENTENCE
A sentence may be defined as a group of words which
makes complete sense.
KINDS OF SENTENCE
According to word order, sentences can be divided into
four kinds. They are:
1. Assertive Sentences
2. Interrogative Sentences
3. Imperative Sentences
4. Exclamatory sentences

Assertive or statements are simple statements of facts. They state
or assert or declare some thing. Therefore they are called
assertive Sentences or statements.
Eg:- He is a good cricketer.
The sun rises in the east.
The Earth is round
