1. How did Agricultural Revolution change and affect the structure of the society?

The Agricultural Revolution has made a substantial contribution to the development of more
technological advancements in our civilization, and it continues to do so now. Way back thousands of
years ago, before agriculture was discovered, humans were referred to as nomads and hunter-
gatherers, which were groups of people who didn’t have permanent places to live. They move from
one place to another just to find food and shelter to survive. Not until they found that there was a way
to settle on a permanent place, which was the discovery of farming and irrigation with the use of
rudimentary equipment primarily made of stones. These techniques paved the way for a new era,
which is the agricultural wave. They have found out that they can regulate the growth of plants and
domesticate animals, making more of them, to produce food so that they don’t have to migrate now to
another place to find their food source. The introduction of farming has brought a lot of changes, not
just in the food system, but it has also led to a rise in the population because they are now in a
sedentary society where they can provide food for their people. Since it was now possible to produce
excess food and know how to preserve it, it was no longer necessary for all members of the
community to be involved in sourcing nutrition. This allowed for the development of social, cultural
and economic specialization and division of labor where other members learn handicrafts, indulge in
creating artwork, inventing new tools for better work, teaching how to write and mathematics, creating
buildings, and so on.

2. What are the impacts of agriculture on the environment?

The rise of agriculture has undeniably brought delight to the lives of the people. As we
scrutinize its concept, we come to the same conclusion: it is all about food and sustenance. When
agricultural activities are managed sustainably, it can definitely help protect watersheds, conserve
and restore vital habitats, and improve soil health and water quality, all of which promotes a healthy
living society. Unsustainable management, on the other hand, will have catastrophic consequences
for people and the environment. As the world's population expands, so does the need for agricultural
commodities, resulting in a large amount of space being used up, adversely impacting other species.
Agriculture also contributes to pollution since pesticides, fertilizers, and other hazardous farm
chemicals can contaminate fresh water, marine habitats, air, and soil, resulting in illnesses and other
ailments. These are some of the negative effects of agriculture, which we should mitigate if we intend
to live in a healthy environment by creating incentives for biodiversity conservation and improving
agricultural regulations to reduce detrimental environmental impacts.

3. How does the Industrial Revolution change the society?

The historic transition from the agricultural to the industrial revolution had a profound effect on
human society and resulted in enormous transformation. At one time, humans generated the majority
of the energy used, powered by the animals and plants they ate and the wood they burned, or
assisted by their domesticated animals. However, everything changed during the industrial revolution,
when humanity discovered a technique to maximize productivity and accessibility of food production
in response to population growth. Here comes the discovery of a new world, bringing with it new
materials, namely machines or engines. The human alliance's quest for an efficient and convenient
method of improving life is an endless process, which is why factories were invented. It was during
