Account Specialist/Human Resource Designee or Account Specialist 2. The three primary tactics
used by Humana Human Resources department to improve worker performance include the
following: encouraging employee input, building a supportive and well-being culture inside the
branches, and offering a comprehensive updated benefits package. This was done as part of the
acquisition but also to boost morale, productivity and longevity within the organization. As a
result from the discussions below, any of these tactics may be used inside the business to
increase employee performance.
When the first strategy, which encourages employee input is applies, workers have a
better understanding of their task which results in acknowledgment with an increase in
performance in contrast to what was anticipated. All employees should be encouraged to seek
guidance or advice on how to help the team. These opportunities for feedback must be consistent
and reciprocal. It is also critical to encourage frequent input. Consequently, the organization
may identify strengths and weaknesses in individuals and offering constructive feedback for
these employees. Long term this plan may give the team clear and concise ways to achieve the
goals of the organization.
Second, growing a culture of well-being and support inside an organization allows
employees to accomplish their task more efficiently by making them feel valued and vested,
adding to their satisfaction. One of the most important parts of becoming an outstanding leader,
according to the World Health Organization (2016), is developing a healthy culture that displays
the leader’s respect for all employees. Directors may build this culture of employee appreciation
and well-being by offering higher wages, comprehensive benefits, workplace perks,
