Test Observation Results
1- Oxalate: 1 mL urine + 2 mL KMnO4 + +ve (color disappears) NO Kidney stones
3 mL con. H2SO4 + heat color
2- Phosphate: 1 mL urine + 1 mL
ammonium molybdate + 1 mL HNO3 -ve (no color appears) No Disease (Normal)
(10 drops) + heat.
3- Protein: 1 mL Biuret Reagent + 1 mL +ve (purple color appears) Kidney Disease

4- Sugar: Heat for 3 minutes 2 mL
-ve if Blue ppt No Disease ( Normal)
Benedict's + 1 mL urine.
5- Ketones: 1mL urine + 1mL sodium
nitroprusside + 1mL NaOH -ve If yellowish or light Red No Disease (Normal)
